I was out driving the other night and noted to myself how different the speedometer looks at night, so I decided to do a video of it. As promised in The Concept, this was all inspired by me driving down the road look at my ordinary speedometer, and here it is at night!

Speedometer Video - Buick Century 2001
2001 Buick Century
I figured I would go ahead and do both so it wouldn't be a case of "Do what I say, not as I do."
As you remember from the The Concept, this was all inspired by me driving down the road look at my ordinary speedometer, and here it is.
Can you beat it at all?

The Concept
So, what is the concept behind Speedometer Blog?
Good question, I'm not sure yet! I was driving down the road today looking at my very ordinary dashboard (picture coming very soon) and thought to myself, I wonder if there is anything else out there unlike ours that is more than just ordinary.
More than anything else, I want this to be a user generated site. It would be absolutely amazing if you would be the authors of the site.
Send your ordinary and extraordinary pictures and video of your speedometer and dashboard in action. Please include with your pictures and or video the year, make, and model of the car. Also know, that with each submission, you are giving us the rights to that picture and/or video. If you don't want to give us those rights, it is suggested that you do not submit.
With that, we will say "Thank You!" in advance and look forward to hearing from you.
Please send all pictures and/or videos to SpeedometerBlog@gmail.com

So, the invitation is here!

I hope this goes without saying, don't do anything stupid. No, really, we do not accept any responsibility for tickets, wrecks, or anything else that could possibly happen because you were trying to do something to submit to the site.
With that, we will say "Thank You!" in advance and look forward to hearing from you.
